so today i went to the library. newly fixed up. supposed to be brand spankin new with pseudo ikea chairs and up to date computers! well excuse me for not sounding enthusiastic after going to the new pride of santa fe springs, but that shit was LAME.
when i first heard they were remodeling the library i go to, i was pumped. however when i enter the fresh smelling library, i look around and only see small section of books.
"Is this the only section of books they have?" i ask, and sure enough...it was.
what the fuck, i thought by remodeling the library they would be making it better, but no! they reduce their book selection to the size equivalent to my old high school. you may say its not about the size, and that its about the actual selection. well that didnt seem all too great either. as i looked up "key words" on their online catalogue i found that 75% of their books are at their sister library in Downey.
the shame...
in the end yes, i did get some interesting art books (see below) but come on, i had to pick from crumbs or something.
